the hotel was in a great location right in the middle of grasmere, and the pool was pretty warm which was nice. room was clean with a comfy bed and good views. really enjoyed the bar area with all those big sofas. The reception staff were chill and helpful.

but they need to fix some stuff in the room like the toilet seat and some lights not working. also, the parking situation was a bit tight.

The food was incredible, especially the dining options—had breakfast in the lounge and it was top-notch! The pool and sauna were such a treat after hiking. Only bummer? The WiFi didn't reach our room, which was a bit annoying. Would def come back!

we had a great stay at the inn. it's perfectly located in the village, allowing us to park right outside. the room was very comfortable, and the evening peace was wonderful for us city dwellers. breakfast was exceptional, with everything cooked to order, making it a highlight of our visit. we loved the welcoming lounge area too!

The on-site dining options were diverse, and I particularly enjoyed the fresh breakfast spread, which included local ingredients. The pool and sauna were great for unwinding after a long day of work.

Parking can be challenging.

My kids wished the pool area was safer with better non-slip surfaces.

i had a wonderful stay after visiting before. the atmosphere was warm and welcoming, and the breakfast had a fantastic selection of freshly baked pastries and local produce. we loved our spacious twin room and the added bonus of the pool and sauna, a perfect way to relax after a day of exploring.
